Image & Content Upload Policy

1. Ownership and Rights

You may only upload content if:

• You personally created the content (e.g., you took the photo), or
• You have obtained valid commercial rights or licenses to use and upload the content

You must have the right to grant CityArtWalks permission to display and monetize the content.

2. Prohibited Content Sources

You may NOT upload content obtained from:

• Google Image search results
• Social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X) without permission
• Other websites, blogs, or publications without proper licensing
• Stock image libraries without a valid commercial license

Uploading content from these sources without permission is a violation of this Policy.

3. Public Art and Photography

Many public artworks are protected by copyright.

By uploading images of public art, you confirm that:

• You took the photograph yourself or have the right to use the image commercially
• The use of the image on CityArtWalks does not violate any artist, photographer, or third-party rights

4. AI-Generated and Assisted Content

CityArtWalks may provide AI tools to generate descriptions or assist with content creation.

You agree that:

• You are responsible for reviewing and validating all AI-generated content
• You will correct any inaccuracies before publishing
• You will not submit misleading, false, or fabricated information

5. Accuracy and Authenticity

You agree that all content you upload:

• Is accurate to the best of your knowledge
• Does not misrepresent artists, venues, or locations
• Does not contain false or defamatory information

6. Metadata and Verification

CityArtWalks may analyze image metadata (such as EXIF data) to help verify authenticity.

You agree not to:

• Alter or falsify metadata to misrepresent ownership or location
• Upload images with misleading or manipulated data intended to deceive

7. Copyright Complaints (DMCA)

CityArtWalks complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

If a valid copyright complaint is received:

• Your content may be removed without prior notice
• You may be notified and given the opportunity to respond
• Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination

8. Enforcement and Penalties

Violations of this Policy may result in:

• Removal of content
• Suspension of upload privileges
• Termination of your moderator account
• Forfeiture of any pending payouts associated with violating content

CityArtWalks reserves the right to take action at its sole discretion.

9. Responsibility and Liability

You are solely responsible for all content you upload.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CityArtWalks from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your content.

10. Agreement

By uploading content, you confirm that:

• You have read and understand this Policy
• You agree to comply with all requirements
• You accept full responsibility for the content you upload
